2025 Predictions

Squarespace is gonna buy Myspace and bring it back!

Mwuahahaha lol.

The Corporate Dropout is OUT NOW!

Get it here at OmariHarebin.com or on amazon.

What happens when your back’s against the wall, and the “right time” never comes?

With $60,000 in student loans, a DUI looming, and a baby on the way, Omari Harebin faced a life-altering decision: stay in the safety of a corporate job that didn’t align with his values—or risk everything to create a life he loved. What followed was a raw and inspiring journey of bold risks, unexpected challenges, and transformative growth.

In The Corporate Dropout, Omari pulls back the curtain on what it takes to leave the 9-to-5 grind and build something entirely your own. From late-night shifts at Verizon to growing a six-figure digital product business, he navigates the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, family, and personal growth with unflinching honesty.

More than a memoir, The Corporate Dropout is a call to action for anyone ready to take control of their story and create a life that aligns with who they are.

In this book, you’ll discover:

  • Why your story is your most valuable asset—and how to use it to unlock new opportunities

  • The mindset shifts required to go from freelance to freedom

  • How small, deliberate actions can create exponential results

  • How setbacks and missteps can become your greatest teachers

  • The importance of taking imperfect action and starting where you are

This deeply personal and candid account isn’t just about quitting a job—it’s about reclaiming your voice, finding freedom, and designing a life on your own terms. If you’ve ever felt trapped in a life that doesn’t fit, The Corporate Dropout invites you to rewrite the script and embrace the courage to live fully in your purpose.

***Upcoming Live Workshop March 3rd***

If you've ever been curious about developer mode but scared you'd screw something up, this is for you.

I’m putting the finishing touches on  MySquareSpace  Template this week, and I thought, why not make a workshop out of it?

Earlier this month I did a few migrations from 7.0 to 7.1 and realized how much 7.0 still has to offer.

I got curious again about the developer platform and what you could do with custom collections, so I dove in and used it to bring my old myspace profile to life.

This Friday I'll walk you through how I did it.

I’ll show you how to turn HTML and CSS into an editable Squarespace template.

You’ll also get a free copy of the MySquareSpace template to play with.

Here are the details:

Workshop: MySquareSpace Unpacked!

Price: $75 USD

Date: Friday, March 3rd

Time: 1PM Eastern

Location: Zoom

Register here:  https://courses.omariharebin.com/mysquarespace-template-unpacked

The training will be live, and the recording will be available after.

See you there!

Omari

And we're live!!!

I’ve still got a few tweaks to make, videos to make and I’ve already got ideas for v2.0, but it’s better to launch and get it out in the wild and go from there.

Excited to know what you think.

Click around. Everything is functional.

I’ve even got Members Areas turned on.

And you can buy the template by going to the store.

Demystifying Developer Mode

For years Squarespace designers treated it like something to stay away from.

The big threat was you’d miss out on template updates.

And then 7.1 came along and Developer Mode seems to have been forgotten about.

Until recently.

After doing a few migrations from 7.0 to 7.1, I realize how flexible and customizable 7.0 really is.

So I made this template as a proof of concept.

Taking one of my favorite eras and matching it with my favorite CMS.

If you want to learn more, I’ve included a free workshop on this topic when you purchase this template.

My actual Myspace

Here’s a look at my OG myspace via Webarchive.

The goal was to bring it back to life on Squarespace and I’m happy with the result.
